Terrific Options For Your Tanzania Holiday

Tanzania has a lot going for it...

It has the great wildebeest migration in the Serengeti, which makes it one of the most filmed and best known safari destinations in the world.

It has the highest mountain in Africa, the highest free standing mountain in the world and the easiest of the world's 'Seven Summits' (the highest mountains on all seven continents) for people who are not experienced mountain climbers.

And it has some of the best beaches, best snorkelling, best diving and most fantastic beach resorts in the world.

It is also a wonderful country with warm and friendly people.

Also it combines well with safaris in Kenya or with trips to the Victoria Falls or even Cape Town. There is a wonderful luxury train that goes all the way from Dar es Salaam, the commercial hub and port city of Tanzania to Cape Town, via Victoria Falls.

There are various different ways to fly into Tanzania. There are airports at Arusha, which serves the northern circuit, at Dar es Salaam, which serves the south and west and on Zanzibar. There are no direct flights from the UK, but there are several good, competitive flight options to get to any of the airports with one stop in under 14 hours. A number of these fly via Qatar, so it is worth considering a stoop over there en route.
