Incredible Indian Ocean Holidays
It's amazing how well the words 'beach' and 'holiday' go together. The fact is that for relaxing, unwinding and recharging there is no better option than to dip into refreshing (but not too cold!) water and stretch out on warm soft sand.
Of course there are places closer to home where you can do this, but if you want a really laid-back, island style holiday in a time zone not too different from the UK (so you don't waste holiday time on jet-lag) the Indian Ocean options are incredible.
We guarantee you completely independent advice and access to all the best resorts, hotels and tour operators at competitive prices. Our bookings are generally flexible and always ABTA and ATOL protected!

Incredible Indian Ocean Holiday Options
There is so much variety available in the Indian Ocean...
The Maldives are mainly about the incredible beaches, snorkelling, diving and other sea based activities. In general, each resort is its own island. There are plenty of all inclusive packages available, and while there are lots of adults only and fantastic honeymoon choices, there are also some resorts with great family options and brilliant things for children to do. Direct flights are available from London taking about 11 hours. A flight with one stop takes about 14 hours.
The Seychelles has a couple of bigger islands with local shops, markets and restaurants, and beautiful scenery, as well as small and exclusive island resorts. A multi-centre holiday enjoying both the local culture and a small island vibe is a possibility here. All types of packages are available here also. Although there is greater diversity, the beaches are again the focus of the holiday. Direct flights are available from London taking under 11 hours. A flight with one stop takes about 14 hours.
Probably the best known of the Indian Island destinations, Mauritius has a combination of fantastic beaches and lots of other activities. Golf is a particular favourite. There is lots of local culture, there are local restaurants and local night life and great nature reserves and cultural attractions. With all types of package available and particularly strong family focus in some resorts and hotels, this is a magical holiday destination for everything from honeymoons to multi-generational family holidays. Plenty of direct flights are available from London taking about 12 hours. One stop flights take 14 to 15 hours.
Madagascar also has marvelous beaches, but it is mainly a destination for people wanting to see its extraordinary natural environment, with more than 100 endemic bird species, many endemic animals (specially lemurs) and an incredible range of unique plants. It has fantastic scenery, including forests, rivers and limestone needle fields. All this and the beaches! Journeys from London with one stop generally take between 14 and 18 hours.
Reunion, which is, administratively and politically, part of France is fantastic for hiking, biking, horse riding and exploring. With an incredible diversity of ravishing scenery, from its active volcano to beautiful forests and waterfalls it is a truly wonderful place to see. It also offers a refreshing cultural experience with a vibrant mixture of France, Africa, China, India and Polynesia. And, of course, there are beaches! Journeys from London with one stop typically take between 16 and 18 hours.
Don't forget about Zanzibar and Mozambique as other great Indian Ocean options.
And there is always the possibility of combining any of these in a multi-centre holiday, together or with Cape Town or a safari in South Africa or in one of the other great safari destinations in Southern Africa or East Africa.
The options are endless and incredibly exciting. Let us help you prioritise, select and organise and we will book you the holiday of a lifetime!
