As it says on the tin, this is the classic Zimbabwe safari tour. It starts at Victoria Falls, goes on to Hwange, then to Kariba, on to Mana Pools and out via Harare. There are many ways in which this can be varied. Including flying from Victoria falls to Hwange and upgrading much of the accommodation.

Inbound Flights: Your inbound flights will be to Victoria Falls or Livingstone via Johannesburg, Nairobi or Addis Ababba.
Days 2 and 3 will be at Victoria Falls in a luxury lodge on bed and Breakfast. You decide whether you want to experience the spectacle on foot, or from a helicopter; whether you want the adrenaline of a bungi jump or white water rafting, or the refinement of a sunset cruise. In between there are wonderful restaurants and charming shops to enjoy in the town..png)
Days 4, 5 and 6 will be in Hwange National Park. You will be driven there from Victoria Falls on the morning of day 4 and you will stay for these days in a beautiful lodge or camp with all meals and game viewing activities included. If you want a guided walk in the bush this will be available to you. Otherwise you will normally go out in an open vehicle morning and evening in search of the wonderful range of animal sights to be seen there.

Days 7, 8 and 9 will be in a stunning lodge on the banks of Lake Kariba, on full board with all activities. You will transfer there in a light aircraft on the morning of day 7. Here you will explore the lake with fantastic game viewing by boat, as well as fishing if you are keen. There are also game drives and walks along the shore, as well as ample opportunity to relax and enjoy the African sunshine.
Days 9, 10, 11 and 12 you will be at Mana Pools. Again your transfer will be by light aircraft, this time to the premier game area in Zimbabwe, on the south bank of the Lower Zambezi. You will stay in a top rated lodge or bush camp on all inclusive with all game viewing activities. This area is particularly good for elephants, as well as all the predators, and the birds are spectacular.

On Day 13 a light aircraft will take you to Harare, from where you will fly home via Johannesburg, Nairobi or Addis Ababba.

This is an exceptional value for money holiday because it excludes small aircraft and relies on ground transport, except for a scheduled flight from Maun to Kasane. Days 2 and 3 will be in the Okavango Delta area, usually in the Khwai Concession, just to the north of the Moremi Game Reserve. You will stay in a luxury tented camp on full board with all game viewing activities. The game viewing in this area is legendary!
Days 5, 6 and 7 you will be in the Chobe Area. You will be transferred back to Maun for a flight to Kasane, where you will be picked up by a guide and transferred to your lodge in or close to the Chobe National park. As well as having an extraordinary concentration of elephants and a wonderful diversity of other game, Chobe has the advantage of game viewing from the wonderful Chobe River, as well as from land vehicles.

On Day 10 you will be transferred to Victoria Falls airport for the overnight international flight home via Johannesburg.

Zambia is an absolutely brilliant safari destination. It is usually regarded as a fairly specialised area and recommended for people with some safari experience looking for a more in depth safari. But this wonderful itinerary puts it in reach of everyone, incorporating the absolutely top ranked South Luangwa Valley as well as the stunning Lower Zambezi.
Inbound flights: Your inbound flight will be to Lusaka, where you will transfer to a light aircraft for a flight to Mfuwe.
Days 2, 3 and 4 will be in the South Luangwa Valley at one of a number of gorgeous luxury tented camps in the South Luangwa National Park, where you will be on full board with all game viewing activities. You may have recently watched 'Big Cat Country' on Sky Nature. This is where that was filmed. The area is famous for walking safaris, but if you prefer to do your game viewing in a vehicle that will also be richly rewarding.
Days 5, 6, 7 and 8 will be at the Lower Zambezi National Park. You will get there on two short flights with a stop in Lusaka on the way. Here you will be at a luxury tented camp or lodge, on full board with game viewing activities. These will include river based game viewing from launches or kayaks. If you are keen on fishing there may also be opportunities for to catch your evening meal!
Days 9 and 10 will be at Victoria Falls in a luxury lodge on bed and breakfast. You will fly from the Lower Zambezi to Lusaka and then on to Livingstone from where you will cross the border into Zimbabwe.
